High potential and gifted education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.

The Premier’s Spelling Bee promotes our students’ vocabulary development and attention to detail in competitive settings.

The Premier’s Sporting Challenge (PSC) promotes whole-school participation in physical activity with leadership pathways and professional learning.

Sporting teams at Timbumburi Public School are given extensive opportunities to train and learn together. In 2025, 4 of our PSSA Knockout teams progressed through to the final 8 in NSW. This places us in the top 0.4% of all schools in NSW in each competition.
